By accessing or using Costly ("the Service"), including the website at getcostly.dev, the dashboard, and the open-source SDK, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Costly provides AI cost monitoring and waste detection tools for developers. The Service includes an open-source SDK that wraps AI API calls, a hosted dashboard for visualizing cost data, and waste analysis engine that identifies optimization opportunities.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer the hosted dashboard or waste analysis engine
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

The Costly SDK is open source and licensed separately under its own license (available in the SDK repository). These Terms govern your use of the hosted Service, not the SDK itself.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cost savings estimates will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Costly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
